Your will duties include performing setup, calibration, qualification and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment. You'll use sophisticated programs to track and control wafers through the production process, and you'll assist engineers with tests and experiments.

You'll be responsible for system scheduled maintenance, and you'll review and maintain work plans, sequence of operations, standard operating procedures and process flow diagrams. You'll also manage daily corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and other work as required in maintenance management systems.

Failure analysis technicians provide timely and accurate "root cause" identification on failing analog or digital units. You'll support the quality assurance system and technical activities, and you'll frequently interact with TI customers and functional peer groups at engineering levels. Your focus will be on physical failure analysis, but you might also perform operational tests, fault isolation on integrated circuits, equipment maintenance, calibration, and lab safety checks.

You'll perform setup of semiconductor processing equipment and, once the product is on the line, monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators. You'll test runs and prepares records, charts and graphs of results through masking and diffusion for presentation to engineering personnel, helping to identify yield problems.
