About the job
- Consulting with business application owners to understand their requirements to design and implement the best infrastructure solutions to meet their needs
- Researching and provisioning new technology solutions to meet the demands of our business application owners.
- Provision, test, and support TI’s Mainframe Applications/Utilities and make needed enhancements to IBM products via user exits and In-line mods.
- Monitoring performance and capacity of TI’s Mainframe and open systems MQ Environment
- Mainframe systems provisioning/support using Assembler and REXX programming languages, JCL, TSO, ISPF
- Provision and test mainframe network software and hardware
- Use a variety of programming languages/tools such as Focus, SAS, C, IBM z/OS, zVM, IBM DB/DLI/DB2, MQ, SQL, Oracle, Unix/Linux
Minimum requirements
- Minimum BS in MIS/CIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Programming/Support experience (MQ and Mainframe systems programming)
- 10 years’ experience
