About the job: Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
Responsibilities include: • Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs • Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues • Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed • Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
Minimum requirements: • Associate’s degree in an Electronics-related field or Equivalent Military Electronics training
Preferred qualifications: – Experience working with the following toolplatforms: AMHS (Automatic Material Handling Systems), Wafer Sorters, Carrier Exchangers,and Brooks Guardian / TechSem Reticle Stockers. – Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to determine problems innon-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. – Ability to use schematics, test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipmentcheckouts. – Interact with module pass down meetings/discussions – Exceptional attention to detail – Proficient with SMS, TrackWorks, mySPC, MS Office, Word, and Excel. – Strong collaborative skills in team environment – Excellent communication and presentation skills
