In this semiconductor fab engineer role with Texas Instruments’ worldwide manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for engineering process optimization efforts to achieve fab cycle time goals. You will interface with various modules, in addition to yield, product and integration teams, to resolve issues that limit yield performance.

 

This position will be responsible for project management that results in the timely execution of actions that resolve issues. This individual will be exposed to significant projects that include the automation, installation and maintenance of semiconductor tools and equipment.

 

Primary and secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.

  • Recommends and implements equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products.

  • Develops and conducts statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical cause of failure for yield loss and improving quality.

  • Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.  

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Microelectronics or MET
  • Currently living in Aguascalientes, Mexico
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) 
  • Candidates must be in their last semester of school and be able to work from April/May through October/November timeframe (December 2021 graduates preferred)
