About the Job

Our User Experience Design internship will provide you with a variety of experiences tailored to the latest trends in web design such as UX research, strategy and interface design. This is a unique opportunity to develop valuable skills in a collaborative environment where you will learn about user-centered design, design systems and processes critical to creating and maintaining a great user experience for actual customers who regularly access the website of an $18B technology company. This internship might be for you if you have an interest in:

  • Developing and driving a best-in-class website and digital experience for customers looking for information to evaluate products, make purchases and get timely support
  • Developing end-to-end design strategies and creating consistent web design experiences to help promote the TI brand
  • Working with IT to launch new innovative, technically credible solutions on TI.com – leveraging & analyzing data, collecting feedback from customers and internal stakeholder groups, understanding the competitive and industry landscape to influence decisions
  • Leveraging data to assess the effectiveness of content on TI.com, and collaborating with key experts to complete analysis of web performance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Marketing Research & Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Digital Marketing, Analytics, Web Design & Development, User Experience Design, Technical Communications, Engineering or Computer Science with focus in marketing, or related degree.
  • Minimum GPA  3.0/4.0 GPA 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Product Design, UX Research, Human-computer interface design, Web design & development, Marketing Communications, User experience design (UXD), graphic design or information architecture
  • Strong online portfolio demonstrating a range of UI/UX web-related design work a must
  • Proficiency with one of the standard prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, UXpin, Axure as well as Adobe CC
  • Understands fundamentals of user experience design principles, UX research, web development and web production
  • Familiarity with:
    • Prototyping, design flows, storyboarding
    • Web & graphic design, design system principles
    • UX Research, analytics, reporting
    • Translating user and business needs into requirements
  • Some HTML/CSS web development and related JS framework
