The Fab Solutions IT is one among the top investment areas for Manufacturing Solutions organization. In this role, the leader sets strategy and owns overall execution for various connected 300mm Fab IT organizations in TI based on a compelling roadmap, synergizing software, data analytics and IT infrastructure. The organization is responsible for end-to-end ownership and enablement of TI’s 300mm fab IT solutions, and would leverage emerging Data, AI/ML, MES and automation tools for business success. The candidate is expected to have demonstrated success in a leading world class engineering organization, building enterprise grade platforms/solutions, and translating technology investment to business success.
This role will provide technical & thought leadership across and lines of manufacturing businesses to formulate and implement key technology and architecture decisions, foster and establish a strong engineering discipline, and build a top notch engineering organization.
Responsibilities:
Technology strategy
· Partner with senior leaders and technologists to create/drive our technology platforms strategy, focused on emerging technologies for manufacturing, quality & automation across all areas of the business.
· Develop and refine the technical roadmap aligning with current and future needs for near and long-term success of 300mm fab manufacturing IT.
· Identify key technology investment areas assessing total cost of ownership. Evaluate opportunities for quality, efficiency and translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.
Organizational strategy
· Lead multiple organizations to success with compelling roadmaps, set systems and processes in place to increase quality & efficiency of execution while driving a culture of zero disruptions.
· Foster a culture of innovation, curiosity, collaboration, and excellence within the organisation.
· Set multi-year organization strategy including investment levels and required skillsets for success.
Fab IT Ownership
· Lead various factory IT organizations sharp focus on execution, quality and efficiency with zero disruptions
· Establish, communicate, and enforce clear IT security guidelines and policies for 300mm fab manufacturing sites based on industry best practices.
· Identify and eliminate quality vulnerabilities, leveraging data to drive meaning decisions for manufacturing success.
· Inculcate the technical leadership mindset, and lead carious fab IT organizations responsible for SW development, manufacturing execution system modelling and integration with tool automation solutions, fault detection and classification (FDC) systems, statistical process control (SPC) systems, dispatch and scheduling systems, operator user interfaces, and other factory automation systems

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
· The ability to construct easily consumable messaging across a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
· Proven ability to navigate complex technology landscapes and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
· Highly influential and ability to flex leadership style according to the situation & lead though significant change, growth, and innovation. Great teamwork, “can do” attitude, exemplified ownership/accountability
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field of study.
· 5 + years leading a technology function, preferably in Manufacturing IT, Software Engineering, & Data
· Working knowledge of data and AI/ML ecosystem, technology, and industry best practices including data engineering, data warehousing technologies
Preferred qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail, with experience translating complex analytics into digestible stories.
- Demonstrated experience and success in partnering with business and delivering business critical data success.
- Demonstrated experience with senior leaders and technologists to create/drive our technology platforms strategy, focused on emerging technologies for manufacturing, quality & automation across all areas of the business.
· Ability to drive technical roadmaps aligning with current and future needs for near and long-term success of 300mm fab manufacturing IT.
