About the Job

A well-rounded communication expert who is responsible for digital marketing programs and employee communications for TI Japan with two main areas of responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing: Attracting, engaging and influencing customer actions that directly align with business, sector and regional sales growth goals. S/he will partner with her/his WW counterparts along with web operations, content marketing, campaign project managers, to manage, execute, and measure strategic digital marketing plans in Japan.
  • Employee Communications: Executing communications strategies for engaging and educating employees on organizational strategy, influencing behaviors and managing change. S/he will contribute to the development content to deliver to internal audiences.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Digital Marketing: (80%)

  • Digital Marketing strategy: Responsible for making regional inputs to WW digital marketing strategies and detailed plans that elevate product categories, sectors and new technologies/platforms in the market in order to attract, engage and convert customers on TI.com. 
  • Channel Management: Responsible for understanding and leveraging customer behavior insights to manage the various regional marketing channels including paid media, personalization campaigns, search, etc. 
  • Promotions: Define, create and execute integrated regional digital marketing programs that promote key product categories, applications, technologies and technical content in order to influence customer action on TI.com and elevate perception of performance leadership. Responsible for aligning with global counterparts to ensure local considerations are included in the overall plan.
  • Positioning: Identifies and prioritizes messaging needs and initiates planning discussions with content marketing and business stakeholders.
  • Content strategy: Influences content strategy to meet customer engagement objectives, and drives product category and sector thought leadership, in partnership with WW content marketing team and PR agency in Japan. 
  • Stakeholder alignment: Uses regional knowledge to ensure programs meet the business needs of the region. Coordinates and partners effectively with operations, content marketing and global counterparts to align on the WW and regional strategy and complete deliverables.

 

Employee Communications (20%)

  • Partnering with Japan sales & applications Leadership teams to drive communications activities that support employee engagement and ensure employees understand priorities and focus of the organization.
  • Maximizing internal communications forums and channels, such as social media, town halls, round tables, executive presentations, intranet pages, leader emails.

 

Role requirements:

  • Ability to take global digital marketing strategies and apply them in Japan. Prioritize action plans and work through ambiguity.
  • Knowledgeable of owned and paid media channels, technical content and messaging tactics.
  • Clear, concise communication skills for positioning, messaging and content creation, including fundamental writing skills.
  • Willing to learn semiconductor industry, TI product.
  • Strong knack for interpreting data, driving meaningful actions and communicating relevant results to stakeholders.
  • Confidence to direct, counsel and influence partners across various organizations.
  • Proactive and positive attitude with strong collaboration skills and team-focused and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent time-management and project management skills to simultaneously drive on-time execution of multiple projects.
  • Budget management and accountability.
  • Proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Japanese.

 

     

    Must have qualifications:

    • 5+ years’ relevant experience in digital marketing, marketing communications.
    • Proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Japanese. (Business- high level, TOEIC 800)
    • Proactive and positive attitude with strong collaboration skills and team-focused and results-oriented mindset.

     

     

    Preferred qualifications & experience:

    • Relevant experience in digital marketing, marketing communications.
    • Knowledge of the high-tech or semiconductor industries are preferred, but not required
    • Experience with digital marketing paid and organic channels and event management.
