Who are we and what do we do

Isolation (ISO) team works on different product families involving High Voltage Isolation (~kV rms & DC) of signal & power. Isolation is a means of preventing DC and unwanted AC currents between two parts of a system, while allowing signal and power transfer between those two parts. The team works very closely with ATD, SCP, TTG & Kilby Labs due to the technology development oriented nature of the products. The products cater to mostly Industrial & Automotive markets.

What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)

Circuit designs involving high speed, low power consumption, low jitter, low cost, high power delivery, high efficiency, low emissions, high immunity, etc.

Develop circuit architectures for the chip starting from datasheet / system specifications.

Develop individual block design specification based on full chip circuit architecture.

Ownership of full chip design & layout activities including technical ownership as well as schedule planning and tracking.

Develop chip schematics and engage in design and verification.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define & model interaction of passive components like capacitors, inductors and transformers.

Support the bench and ATE test with test plan, schematic and layout verification.

Participate hands-on in Silicon Debug, assisting in characterization and qual support.

Work closely with DV and systems teams to review / close spec gaps and design bugs, as they arise

Drive new and improved methodologies where needed, work with the EDA team to upgrade tools and flows

Own design reviews and create necessary design, verification and product documentation

Work with test / DV engineers to come up with optimized DFT techniques and implement DFT hooks for mixed-signal products
