About the job
This role will integrate data from multiple business application systems and our corporate data warehouses into the enterprise reporting architecture, delivering accurate, scalable, user-friendly reporting solutions. The role also provides opportunities that gain high visibility into all layers of the organization, including Executives, SBE Managers, Relationship Managers, and Planners. You will have an opportunity to work with a strong technical team to develop strategic decision-making solutions (including in the space of data visualization and analytics) in support of a rapidly changing business environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute projects related to equipment automation integration that directly/indirectly contributes to company’s goal; increase automation penetration; paperless; increase process yield, reduce cycle time, and supporting new product.
  • Develop new automation software for new equipment installation to support production capacity.
  • Enhance existing automation software to eliminate human errors, improve equipment throughput, provide data for process monitoring, failure detection, improving process control and reducing manufacturing cost per unit.
  • Provide support related to automation software issue to ensure production line run without interruption.
  • Troubleshoot automation software related errors and rectify production stop issues quickly to minimize manufacturing disruption.
  • Practice good software engineering process and own the project development lifecycle from gathering requirements to installation.
  • Understand the business requirements and innovative in providing solution to the customer.
  • Work with local and remote teams to drive project to completion.

 

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent  CGPA > 3.4

  • Required to provide 24×7 standby to support manufacturing issue

Technical Abilities:

  • Experience in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) or Equipment Integration (EI) system in semiconductor industry will be very helpful.
  • Have strong passion in system design, software programming and scripting.
  • Essential skills: Programming: C/C++, Java, Tcl/Tk, Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, Complex SQL and Oracle, Web application development using PL/SQL, Java/J2EE/JSP & HTML, javascript
  • Additional skills: SECS/GEM or any communication protocol, Equipment Integration (EI), Client Server system, network troubleshooting.
