Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced Application Developer to join our team.
 

In IT at TI, our Developers are technology experts who has good understanding of the business workflow/process & how it ties back to IT systems. Application/Solution developers are critical to the success of our global solutions, projects, enhancements & also in ensuring our business is running uninterrupted & in a secure way. Developers work in conjunction with Analysts & our business partners to understand, analyze, develop and execute solutions that meets key performance criteria, are scalable for our future business needs & secure in terms of compliance to our security policies. In this role, you’ll design, document, implement technical solutions & train support teams to ensure long term sustainability of our business solution. This role also provides opportunities to gain high visibility across several layers of our organization.

In this role you will:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise applications
• Participate in and be a critical piece in all phases of the project lifecycle pertaining to TI’s global solutions 
• Develop and build your domain knowledge in key applications, business processes, and functional areas
• Own and contribute to all phases including: requirements, analysis, design, test planning and execution, validation, business and IT user training, business readiness, and metrics
• Work with leaders to set and understand your priorities across multiple projects
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of applications, IT systems & business stakeholders
• Building and sustaining relationships with supporting IT & Business organizations
• Have an opportunity to work with a strong team to develop strategic decision-making solutions in support of a rapidly changing business environment
• Design test suite/cases applicable for the business solution to ensure quality & reliability of solution in production
• Collaborate with various functions within IT such as Logistics, Pricing, Sales, WPL and Finance
• Recommend changes to process and methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Partner with Business and Business Support teams understand requirements and provide solutions.
• Provide operational support to our stakeholders on various Enterprise Applications

Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related degree
• Minimum of 02 years of related work experience

Technical Abilities

• Proficient with Agile development methodologies such as CICD Pipeline (Git, Jira, Jenkins)
• Strong technology skills: –
• Front-end like React JS, Angular, CSS, Html, ASP, Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat
• Backend like Java, Perl, Python, C/C++, Shell Scripting, ABAP, VB.net
• DB’s like MySQL, Oracle/PLSQL, Material UI
• Integrations Platforms/solutions like SAP GW, Boomi, Apigee, SOAP services, data Hub, Control M

• Excellent debugging, problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
• Advanced skills using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Jira, Confluence
• Good understanding of Software Development and Project Life cycles
• Experience in developing applications using low-code no-code tools such as Mendix
• Experience in Spring MVC and MyBatis
