Texas Instruments is looking for Technician Interns to join our teams in Dallas or Richardson, Texas. In these roles, you will learn how to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, along with equipment improvements, upgrades, and manufacturing tool installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.

We are confident learned skills will translate seamlessly into a career as a Manufacturing Technician at TI if you have military experience in the following areas: electronics technician, aviation electronics, aircraft maintenance technician or mechanic, aircraft electrician, fire controls, armament/electrical/avionics systems repairer, mechanics, machinists, or sonar training.
Responsibilities include:
- Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems
- Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance, eliminate repetitive downs and address all tool-related issues
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
- Prepare the technical reports and summary findings and recommend solutions to technical problems
2025 Internship Start Dates: January 13, 2025 and April 7, 2025
Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position. The internship is a temporary position lasting 3-6 months that will give you the opportunity to shadow and learn to perform vital preventative maintenance on semiconductor factory equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
- Current US service member within the last 180 days of service
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
- Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
