The IT Security team is looking for a passionate cybersecurity leader who wants to make an impact in multiple environments.

Texas Instruments is looking for a detailed and results oriented leader to become a part of our global Information Technology Security team as an Identity and Access Management leader. This role is critical to the strategic and tactical success of TI’s cybersecurity program. As the leader of this team you will drive the architecture, implementation, and operations of our identity governance solution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IAM technologies, architecture design, project management, and team leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the Identity governance team in designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise identity governance & administration (IGA) solution.
  • Oversee the architecture and help design highly available, scalable, and secure systems aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to align IAM capabilities and roles with organizational needs.
  • Develop standards, processes, and automation for user provisioning, access certifications, role management, and privileged access.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of IGA solutions and technologies into the enterprise environment when applicable.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing operations.
  • Document, implement, and enforce security controls, policies, and procedures related to identity governance and administration.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to the team, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, standards, and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Drive communications and present across different levels of organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and operating IAM solutions within enterprise environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of IAM technologies such as Identity Providers, Directory Services, Federation, SSO, PAM, IGA, RBAC.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM products from vendors like Ping, SailPoint, Delinea, Okta, etc.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, authentication protocols, and industry standards (SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
  • Strong understand of SOX compliance related to identity life cycles.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand coding/scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc. for automation and integration.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as CIS Controls, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Understanding adversaries’ tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) across varying tool stacks but most importantly, identity-based attacks.
  • Strong understanding of customer identity solutions
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks and security concepts such as defense-in-depth techniques, threat vectors, risk management, common exploits.
  • Functional understanding of networking protocols, cloud, and server administration
  • Demonstrate commitment to high standards of ethics and values, regulatory compliance, and business integrity.
  • Excellent management and communication skills to drive growth of the team and individuals
  • Experience negotiating contracts and working with vendors.
  • Experience with security incidents and forensic investigations
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving abilities, and leadership abilities to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion
  • Industry standard security certifications.
