Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer with a passion for process. This position provides the opportunity to drive continual improvement at all levels. Our team is primarily focused on driving improved procedures and processes. We are searching for a self-directed, highly motivated engineer to join our team.

 
The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer in this role include:

  • Drive efficient Photo process releases to meet our startup and ramp schedule

  • Own and deliver module operational performance, ensure robust stability and manufacturing flexibility. 
  • Support manufacturing operations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield, and enable cost leadership

  • Collaborate closely with your Equipment Engineering peer & Operations counterparts

  • Respond urgently to quality issues, ensuring timely containment to keep events small and protect our customers, and drive to root cause
  • Active communication and relationship building with employees and peers is essential for success

Minimum requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor fab environment

 Preferred qualifications: 

  • Previous 300mm wafer fab startup experience
  • Expertise in Photo process engineering (mark robustness optimization, layer transfers, advanced process development)
  • Experience developing and maintaining APC models in Photo 
  • Ability to work with aggressive timelines and drive for timely results
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects at the same time
  • Ability to lead cross module teams to identify and solve complex process/integration problems 
  • Track record of building strong and collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries
