About the Job
In this role, you’ll work with TI customers, acting as an all-round business consultant to identify new projects and to increase the business opportunity with customers. Typically, you'll start out as a trainee sales representative, selling more products in a particular geographical area or business sector. You'll be responsible for developing existing customer relationships. At first under supervision of senior staff, your specific duties include: 
 
Responsibilities may include, 
  • Understand TI sales process and technical solutions
  • Consolidate and provide sensitive business information to the Account Managers via internal sales reporting tools 
  • Event planning for customer workshops and trainings 
  • Conduct market research in emerging vertical market segments and/or specific sales regions 
  • Investigation via internet on demand, e.g. Xing and LinkedIn 
  • Taking care about sample orders & shipments to customers/distribution partner
  • Correspondence with customers, distributors and internal colleagues worldwide
  • Arrange customer meetings on site and/or virtual conferences (e.g. Webex) 
  • Take an active part in team meetings
  • Connect with emerging customers within a targeted vertical market and promote TI solution 

Requirements 

  • Studying industrial engineering or related field (focus in electronics)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in German and English 
  • Well organized and ability to work independently 
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) 
  • Ability to become fast acquainted with new tools and situations as wells as key contacts within the company 
  • Strong wish to learn and finding creative solutions 
  • Enjoying working with people in a team to satisfy client requirements
