Technician career tracks

Performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation.

Performs technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators, tests new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Performs interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, provides process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.

Performs technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility’s mechanical, chemical and electrical systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
