What would you do?

Manufacturing Production Specialists at Texas Instruments play an integral part in bringing cutting edge technology to customers around the world. In this role you will operate semiconductor equipment in a clean-room environment, creating silicon wafers, ultimately used in all types of electronics.

 

Location: South Portland, Maine

Pay: Earn *$21.65 – $24.90 to start **Listed hourly rates are calculated by dividing total daily earnings (straight time pay + overtime pay + shift differential, if applicable) by 11.8 hours including 2 paid breaks

Shift: Work 12 hour shifts on a fixed, compressed schedule, allowing for 3-4 days off in a row and built in overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain on the job training
  • Responsible for handling and moving wafer fab material
  • Enter details into the computer systems
  • Read and understand instructions from the computer screen 
  • Read and comprehend general operating procedures
  • Expected to manage your time, be punctual
  • Work collaboratively in team environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • One year of work experience
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge
  • Transport and lift material which requires extensive standing and walking
  • Flexible to work days, nights or weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • One year of continuous work experience with same employer 
  • Prior Semiconductor or Manufacturing experience
